Robotics Video Translation and Subtitling

This is one of my preferred videos, for robotics amazes me.
On this work, I transcribed and translated the audio, and added the subtitles using the following software:
* Subtitle Workshop (for subtitle synchronization)
* Leawo AVI Converter (to convert the video to MPEG-4 format, with high compression rate)
* AVI ReComp (to add the subtitles)

Advertising to different audiences in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo

When translating, it is crucial to have cultural knowledge of your target audience. It is challenging (if not unsuccessful) for those who do not have deep knowledge of the language.
This advertisement bellow was translated not only to Brazilian Portuguese, but to Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo audiences.

While in Rio de Janeiro traffic light means sinal, in Sao Paulo it is farol and misunderstandings are very usual.
